Class 6: Chrome Browser Privacy & Security Settings

_5726144_orig[1]To insure that you have more privacy and security, check your browser settings.

If several browsers are available on the computer, you may want to set Chrome as the Default Browser. A Default Browser signals future clickable links to automatically open in Google Chrome and not another browser.

Setting Chrome as the Default Browser

  1. Once the browser is open, set Chrome as the default browser by clicking on the Chrome Menu (three horizontal lines in the right corner of the window) then click on Settings_3404008[1]
  2. Scroll to Default Browser then click on the Make Google Chrome My Default Browser button_3045674[1]

Click Chrome Privacy Settings for more information on other important settings.
